The ink is packaged in special bottles for convenient refilling. The dye in pigment inks is a water-insoluble organic or inorganic compound. Pigment is colored particles that have all the characteristics of a solid, such as volume, diameter, etc. Inks use pigments in a very fine form: particles with a particle size of less than 0.1 microns.
The advantage of pigment inks is that they are more resistant to light and water than water-soluble inks, and do not bleed when wet. The print is clearer, the characters do not blur even on the worst paper. This makes the pigment ink indispensable when printing images for external use.
