The main difference The SSO bearing from other types of hydrodynamic bearings is to install an additional magnet that supports the rotor axis. Typically, hydrodynamic bearings center only during rotation due to the gyro effect. Therefore, at the moment of starting the fan, there is usually some beating of the shaft against the sleeve. In the SSO bearing, the impeller axis is stabilized in the center, even before the moment of starting, by means of a magnet, thus preventing the occurrence of deformation of the sleeve. Thanks to the use of SSO bearing, it is possible to reduce noise and increase the life of the fan .
