Description of the RCI module SFP-CWDM-80-1290 Optical receivers SFP-CWDM-80-xx - designed for transmission and reception of optical data over single-mode optical fiber for a communication line length of up to 80 km .
The receiver consists of two sections: the
transmitter section contains a DFB laser, the
receiver section consists of a PIN photodiode integrated
with a TIA. All modules comply with the
safety requirements of a Class I laser.
Digital diagnostic functions are available
via a two-wire serial interface
as defined in SFF-8472, which provides access to
operating parameters of the device in mode real
time such as receiver temperature,
laser shear current, transmitted optical power,
received optical power and receiver
supply voltage .
