Like previous MikroTik wAP kits, it contains a pre-installed UDP packet relay to any public or private LoRa servers, as well as a weatherproof wireless access point (can be used as a backend) with a WLAN 2.4 GHz interface and an Ethernet port with PoE in. The difference is this: this device operates at 2.4 GHz for LoRa. This means significantly higher throughput and data transfer rates as well as reduced transfer times. And thanks to the Chirp modulation technology, it does not interfere with the 2.4 GHz WLAN signal! It is the ideal solution for industrial installations with high sensor density. The wAP LR2 kit has a built-in 2 dBi WLAN / 4.7 dBi LoRa antenna, but you can also add an external antenna to increase coverage .
