The mini DVI extension cable VE066 allows you to increase the distance between the DVI display and the DVI video source up to 20 meters using only one cat.5 or cat.6 cable, replacing heavier and more expensive DVI cables. The model supports hot plugging, which allows you to connect or disconnect a VE066 transmitter connected to a source, or a VE066 receiver connected to a monitor, without de-energizing the devices. VE066 mini extension cable is fully compatible with all ATEN DVI switches and splitters. This is a convenient and inexpensive way to connect a DVI source and a display at a distance of up to 20 meters.
