Dynamode IDE-SATA-SI is a universal converter. With it, you can connect a drive with an IDE interface to a SATA controller. Or vice versa - the drive with SATA interface to the IDE-controller. For example, in this way they connect an old CD-drive to a modern motherboard, and thus save money on buying a new drive.
