Polymeric standard green ribbon for Evolis printers of Zenius and Primacy series. Monochrome ribbons are made on the basis of special synthetic resin and provide high quality printing of text, graphic objects and all types of bar codes, including those visible in infrared light. A special coating on the back side of the tape protects the printed thermal head from premature wear, protecting it from contamination and relieving static voltage.
In monochrome printing, sublimation printers use the same thermal print heads as in full-color printing, and the only difference is that the image on the plastic card is formed by dots of the same color, and not as a combination of 16 million colors collected from three color panels of printed tape.
