These printers are equipped with a high-speed processor with a frequency of 400 MHz, a dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) of 16 MB and a flash memory of 8 MB. This completely eliminates the waiting time before printing labels. The modular mechanism for thermal transfer printing, which the TE200 series printers are equipped with, is reliably protected from the outside by a plastic case based on acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene, which is specially designed to work in difficult operating conditions.
The device of these models complies with the Energy Star 2.0 energy saving standard, and they are also equipped with an easy-to-load printing mechanism.
The printer can work with two types of ribbon for thermal transfer printing:
- Tape 72-110 meters long on a core with a diameter of 1/2 inch
- Ribbon length of 300 meters on the core with a diameter of 1 inch.
The print head and the platen roller are easily replaced without the use of tools. To ensure accurate label registration, printers are simultaneously equipped with a gap sensor and a black mark sensor. The media bay holds an industry standard roll with an outer diameter of 5 inches on a 1 inch or 1.5 inch diameter core. The powerful hybrid electric motor also allows you to work with larger rolls of labels with an outer diameter of 8 inches, which are mounted on an external unwinding device.
